In this series of posts, I will share how I have incorporated various habits, mindset of humans across the world to update the Operating System of my avatar, Savitha.:
How I have picked up the good aspects of each culture,
How I practice it and imbibe it in my daily life ,
How it has changed me and my life for the better.
In this 1st post in the series(Redesigning my Avatar), I will share what I have learnt from Americans, since at this moment they are in the news!
I have learnt so much from Americans!
But the one thing or maybe 2 things that I really admire about the Americans are :
They are very friendly
Their open heart, compassion they have for other humans.
Now, by Americans I mean all kinds of Americans, white, black, brown, etc
When I visited US in 2012 for a vacation:
I was very pleasantly surprised by how friendly everyone was, irrespective of colour or race.
Everywhere I went, I was greeted with a big smile and “Hi, How are you?”; which I found to be so beautiful.
I have incorporated that into my avatar now!
So, thank you Americans for this, it has changed how I interact with other human beings.
Now, when anyone asks me about US, the only thing I tell them is, Americans are very friendly!
EVEN the immigration officer(a black American lady) was very nice to us(I was travelling with my parents).
I was shocked to hear her pronounce my father’s name correctly(which is a mouthful, even Indians can’t get it right!). I told her this and she laughed and said she should get a bonus for that!
So, our trip started of on this very positive note(after standing in the long immigration queue at 3 AM in the morning).
Little did I know at that time, how much the experiences in USA would change my opinion of Americans!
Irrespective of what their Government does, this is the overwhelming feeling I have of Americans; that they are a bunch of friendly, open hearted human beings!
A humble request – Please do not lose your essence, no matter what!
We, humans have to ensure that, at this point in time, we are aligned to our consciousness!
