I learnt a lesson from Germans that reinforced a belief that I already had.
But, first, what I love about Germans is their no-nonsense attitude.
They are blunt, to the point, no beating around the bush. I am also like this, so obviously I love this trait of Germans!
I have fond memories of watching a German TV show as a kid. I was fascinated from back then, about Germans. I had learnt to count in German 😊 :
Germans are very precise and detail oriented when it comes to work.
The few Germans I interacted with in my work, were highly intelligent, went deep into the topic and wrote detailed material about it.
A German friend that I met a year or so back, is an amazing person; very intelligent, kind hearted, calm, generous, empathetic.
We have collaborated closely in a project and it has been a great experience for me. We are able to share anecdotes, insights, downloads about various topics that are occurring in this world and what it means to us.
The brainstorming that has gone into creating this project has been an enlightening one. A mutual, respectful sharing of ideas, thoughts has made it a very smooth collaboration.
I am so glad that I met such an awesome human being!
So, the lesson I learnt is never to judge a human being based on the history of the place that they come from.
It is a reinforcement of my beliefs about human’s true nature.
